The "Creative Canvas" event allows participants to showcase their design skills by creating digital posters and graphics. The event focuses on visual communication, creativity, and branding alignment, giving students a platform to develop impactful designs that resonate with MVJ College’s identity.
Code Crusade - Conquer the coding challenge
Testing knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), programming logic, and practical coding skills. Online quiz for Round 1, Computer labs for Round 2.
Data Analytics Challenge
The "Data Analytics Challenge" provides a platform for participants to showcase their skills in data processing, analysis, and visualization using SQL and Python. Teams will work with real-world datasets to derive insights, promoting data-driven decision-making and practical problem-solving.
Water Rocketry
Teams must design and safely launch at least two water rockets with launch pads, ensuring stable flight through proper fin placement to keep the Centre of Drag behind the Centre of Mass. Designs will be inspected for safety compliance. Stability can be tested by swinging the empty rocket to confirm nose-first orientation. Each team will have one round, with designated roles for rocket handlers, pump handler, and captain.
Ornithopter
An ornithopter is an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings, mimicking birds and insects. The event has two rounds: a qualifying round, where design quality, flapping power, and aerodynamics are assessed, and a flying test in the second round. The ornithopter with the longest flight endurance wins.
Circuit Savvy
This technical event will check the participants' knowledge of electrical circuits and their ability to analyze them. The event will include several criteria and restrictions that teams must follow. The organizers will measure the time for each round.
Model A Craft
Airplanes vary, but all share basic components: fuselage, wings, cockpit, engine, tail, and landing gear. Participants in this individual event must design these aircraft components within a set time using a sketching tool. A model will be shown for 15 minutes, which they must replicate with detailed accuracy. Basic knowledge of the software is required.
Cad X Ideathon
A mechanical engineer feels great power when given the chance to design a component and give flesh to his ideas. But little do they know about the client’s constant mood swings and design changes. This CAD modelling competition tests the engineer’s ability to adapt to quick design changes.

Innovate and Elevate : Tech Start-up Challenge
The "Innovate & Elevate: Start-Up Challenge" is an event fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Budding entrepreneurs can present and develop their ideas through planning and presentation. The challenge includes two rounds and will last 3 to 4 hours.
PCB Designing
The objective of this event is to encourage participants to showcase their creativity and technical skills by designing a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The event will focus on the participants' ability to use PCB design software to create functional and optimized circuit designs.
Aqua Bot
Aqua Bot challenges participants to design and build a high-performance, self-contained robot for a timed track competition. This event emphasizes innovation, precision, and technical skill, as teams navigate their robots through an aquatic-themed course while adhering to strict design and operational guidelines.
Cargo Race (Drone racing with payload)
Cargo Race challenges participants to navigate drones through obstacles while carrying payloads to a target destination. Piloting skills and prompt, stable payload delivery are crucial, with QR code scanning used to identify precise locations. Judging focuses on delivery finesse, including height, stability, and minimal impact on cargo. Techniques for stable payload deployment add to the event’s complexity.
Robo Kabbadi
Teams will create manually controlled robots to compete in a modified kabaddi-style game. Robots must push the cube into the opponent’s zone while defending their own.
Aromatica
Aromatica allow participants to explore the art and science of perfume creation using natural ingredients. This event encourages participants to design unique fragrances that showcase creativity, knowledge of scent blending, and technical skill. The goal is to create an original perfume that captures a balanced, appealing aroma.
BuildCon 2024:-Civil Engineering Airport Model Challenge
Design and construct a scale model of a modern airport terminal building that demonstrates civil engineering principles, focusing on structural integrity, functionality, and sustainability.
Metallica
This is a event where the participants are given supposed to use discarded materials to make a creative model. They are free to use the provided materials in any form—whether in their entirety or as cut-outs from specific parts.
Air Gliders
For the competition the team must design, fabricate, and demonstrate a glider which can fly with maximum range and endurance. Range is the distance covered on the ground, whereas endurance is the time when airborne. Any lightweight object can have endurance, but the aerodynamic characteristics when included range can be obtained. The event will have two separate rounds where the range and endurance will be separately measured and adding up the points for both the rounds finds the winner.
