All Airplanes are not alike, but they are comprised of certain basic components. The main section of an airplane includes the fuselage, wing, cockpit, engine, tail assembly, and landing gear. The participants must design the given components of the aircraft within the given time. It is an individual event. The minimum eligibility for the participating individual is to be knowledgeable about the sketching tool and its utilities. The participants will be shown an aircraft model for 15 minutes, which they must replicate in the stipulated time using the software with most detailing.
Event Overview
Application Specification Open source VSP software is only allowed for sketching.
Rules for Sketching Round:
1. The college systems will be pre-installed with the software.
2. The top view, side view and the front view of the aircraft component will be displayed for 15 minutes before the competition starts.
3. The participant must design the 3D view of the given component in 2 hours.
4. No extra time will be provided.
5. The winners will be decided based on accuracy in design.
6. The design must be submitted via email after the completion.
Eligibility:
1.Individual event
2.Basic knowledge of sketching software required.
3.Students from any stream can participate.
4.Any number of students from a college can participate
