Designing a hot air balloon with unconventional firing techniques is the challenge (You can follow the conventional methods as well). The innovative thoughts for flying the balloon will gain more points. The participants must come up with new ideas for balloon design. The challenge is to implement a maneuvering technique in the air balloon when air borne (at least a conceptual design is expected from the participants). The basic competition is going to be flying the air balloon. The balloon which is airborne for maximum duration of time will be the one scoring the most. Other criterion for the competition will also be considered for awarding points and the final score will be a collective score, which decides the winner.
