Welcome to Modern Excavation. This event is based on archeological features of soil sediment by adopting different excavation techniques. The students will identify the tool need for the excavation and identify the soil sediment.
Event Overview
Design Specification:
1. Pit of 1ft x 1ft x1ft
2. 2 minerals
3. Mineral 1 at 0.5ft and mineral 2 at 1ft
4. Excavation tools
Round Specification:
Round 1: Each team should identify the location in which their soil sediment will be found, within the specified time, through hunting.
Round 2: With the help of the excavating tool, teams should start excavating and identify the soil sediment present. The team which identifies the soil sediment as per the archeological features correctly, will be declared as the winner.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Only students(UG/PG/Diploma) with valid College ID Card.
2. Each team can have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 members. Students from the same institute can form a team.
