This technical event challenges participants to blend hardware and software skills for smart city solutions. Competitors will assemble smart devices, integrate AI models, and address urban challenges creatively. The event promotes practical problem-solving, showcasing AI’s impact on city infrastructure.
Event Rules
1.Only the time measured by the organizers will be used for scoring. The time measured by the participants will not be considered in any way. 2.In announcing the winners, the judge's decision will be final. 3.Use of AI & electronic gadgets is allowed. 4.Participants can compete individually or in a team of 2-3 members.
Judging Criteria
Round 1: Quiz Battle & Treasure Hunt: 1. Quiz Accuracy and timing:Teams are judged on how many correct answers they provide in the quiz, also the time taken. 2. Clue Solving Speed: The faster the teams decode the scrambled clues into the final answer, the better. 3. Treasure Hunt Success: Teams earn credit for finding the Quest Box based on their efficiency and speed. Bonus points are awarded to teams announcing their box retrieval first. Round 2: Voice-Controlled LED Circuit Challenge: 1. Working Circuit:Teams need to successfully create a working LED circuit controlled via voice commands. 2. Completion Time:Teams are assessed on how quickly they finish building their circuit. 3. Teamwork and Problem-Solving:Teams that collaborate well and efficiently solve problems are rated higher. Round 3: AI Integration & Smart City Presentation: Part 1: AI Chat Assistant: 1. Teams are judged on successfully integrating an AI model with ESP32. 2. Responsiveness, functionality, and creativity in implementation are key factors. Part 2: Presentation 1. Teams must propose an innovative Smart City concept integrating AI. 2. They will be evaluated on creativity, technical feasibility, presentation delivery, and how well AI is utilized in their idea.
